ARRI offers a variety of open face and projection optics (lens housings), domes, softboxes, snoots, and visors. Orbiter models include an Optic-Free small, medium and large dome 15, 30 and 60° open face and projection versions of 15, 25 and 35°. Its redesigned mounting points secure an optional yoke for +/-90° tilt positioning, and the yoke features a standard 1 1/8" Junior pin mounting point. The light is weather resistant and can resist dust and splashes of water. It also features a sync input for future apps to sync with your camera. Interfaces include 5-pin DMX input and output, two LAN ports, two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, and an SD slot for future upgrades. It also has three operating modes: high color rendering, high performance and low noise, for the performance of your preferred mode. LiOS features eight color modes including CCT, HSO, RGBACL, gel selection, X/Y coordinates, source blending, effects, and a custom mode that lets you save over 240 favorites that can be applied to an interface or DMX. With ARRI's Lighting Operating System (LiOS), you can control all color modes, effects, and lighting grids directly from the integrated control panel. The light can also be used with separately available light banks, barndoors, honeycombs and other light shaping accessories with the appropriate adapter. Available optics include 15, 30 and 60° open face optics that produce a directional beam 15, 25 and 35° projection optics produce a sharp, focused beam with evenly distributed color and small, medium and large domes that provide a large area of soft light. The Orbiter features a highly portable design that can change its optics in the blink of an eye using ARRI's Quick Lighting Mount (QLM), a bayonet-style connection similar to a camera lens mount. The light also features multiple sensors, including an intelligent color sensor mode to detect surrounding light and adjust its output for fine color accuracy, a 3-axis accelerometer that detects pan, tilt, and roll movements, a sensor ambient light to keep your screen readable, heat sensors to keep light cool, and even a magnetometer to orient light within your geography. With a high CRI of 98 and a TLCI of 95, it offers a color temperature range of 2,000 to 20,000K to suit almost any lighting situation, and also features 100-0% dimming with a smooth and continuous.
